Moving Update 2

 -Clean fucking everything (Check)

-Get rid of extraneous crap  (When we moved here all our stuff fit in two car loads, that would be very nice to do again)  (Check)

-Arrange remaining things in attractive patterns to tempt prospective renters (Check)

-FIND PERSON TO TAKE OVER LEASE.  (CHECK)

-FIND NEW APARTMENT IN NEW CITY  (CHECK!!)

-Pack up everything, question why we have so much crap, leave much in apartment complex dumpster (Whimperwhimperwhinegrumble- EXCESSIVEWHIMPERINGANDWHINING)

-Load, drive, and unload truck in new place (looking forward to it)

-Begin new life with more college, more job, and hopefully babies.(Seriously looking forward to it)

We roll out on Sunday, will stop by and visit family on the way, will spend the night in a motel 6, and move into our new place on Monday December 31st and will then fuck in the new year.  How's THAT for timing?

I am so relieved and excited I honestly feel like running around in circles outside and screaming my triumph at the top of my lungs.  As it is, I will likely just walk to the gas station on the corner, get myself a soda and keep packing.  Goals for today: get all the decor off the walls and kitchen (except for barest essentials) packed up.  Then go have my last shift at the hockey arena and lament that it isn't with my favorite people.

*flails out of excitement*

T minus one week till we move and there is so much to be done.  Apartment application is in progress and I desperately want this particular place for several reasons, all of them being location based.  The complex also has a pool, which I forgot about when applying for it.

Am trying desperately to not stare holes in my phone while waiting for the apartments to call back with their decision. Distractions are only slightly helpful.

Only four days of work left in Idaho. The finality of this phase of life is starting to hit and I'm unsure of how to feel about it. I'm glad to be moving back to familiar territory (kind of) but am having to build up some fortitude for the task of carving out my space in yet another city. I can do it. It's another staggering workload though. Speaking of work, I'm a heck of a lot more qualified for good jobs than when I moved east, which is comforting and ego boosting. Also, full time and benefits would be delightful.
